Bible Study

Cross of Christ offers many different Bible studies, for people to grow in their faith and knowledge of God's Word.  All of them are open to the public.

Sunday School Sunday School is offered every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. after worship service during the school year. Children learn Bible history lessons from the Old and New Testaments.  They also memorize Bible passages, portions of Martin Luther's Small Catechism and hymns. Children from pre-school age through eighth grade are invited to attend. 
 
Sunday Bible Study A Bible study is offered every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. after worship service. Here we study a variety of Biblical topics including the Bible's teachings, the history of the Christian church, family and life issues. Everyone is welcome to attend this Bible study led by Pastor Schultz.
 
Monday Bible Study A Bible study is offered every Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. It meets in the lower level of the church. In this group we study individual books of the Bible in great depth. Everyone is welcome to attend this Bible study led by one of our church members.
 
Tuesday Bible Study A Bible study is offered every Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time and 3:00 p.m. the rest of the year.  It is held in the lower level of the church. We study individual books of the Bible as explained by "The People's Bible". Everyone is welcome to attend this Bible study led by one of our church members.
 
Confirmation Class Confirmation class is offered every Wednesday night from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the school year. This class is led by Pastor Schultz and is for children in 6th through 8th grade who wish to become confirmed members of Cross of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.

In Confirmation Class students are prepared to be confirmed members of Cross of Christ by growing in their faith and in their eagerness to serve the Lord as they are taught the main teachings of the Bible as it is explained in Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, and as they learn about the Wisconsin Synod’s worship practices, and the history of the Lutheran Church. They are also encouraged to attend church and Sunday School on a regular basis.
