Important Update about changes due to Corona Virus

Due to recent concerns about limiting the spread of the Corona virus, Governor Evers has decided to suspend all gatherings of over 10 people. For this reason, Cross of Christ Lutheran Church is temporarily suspending all worship services and all church activities which includes adult Bible classes, Sunday school, Confirmation classes, Bible Information Classes, fellowship meals, and all other events and meetings. Cross of Christ is suspending these activities for the duration of the public health emergency.  Read a copy of Governor Ever's Emergency order HERE.

Since it is still important to worship God and hear his Word for the strengthening of our faith during this time, here are some online options.

Cross of Christ prays everyone takes the necessary measures to stay healthy and safe during this trying time. If you have a fever, cough, or are having trouble breathing make sure you avoid attending large gatherings and contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Information about the Corona virus (also known as COVID-19) can be found at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website. www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19

Lastly, continue to pray for your health and safety, as well as for the health and safety of the members of Cross of Christ, and all people throughout the world. Continue to put your trust in your loving and almighty God who rescued you from your sins, called you to faith, and promises that one day you will live with him forever in heaven. It is this same loving and almighty God who will keep his promises to watch over you, protect you, and bring you safely through this trying time. Even when it does not seem like God is keeping these promises, remember he always does what is best for people’s physical needs, but more importantly their spiritual needs.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Thank You and God Bless!
